Test Pilot at Boom Supersonic

Chris “Duff” Guarente is a previous Air Force test pilot and graduate of the USAF Test Pilot School at Edwards AFB, CA. During his career he has been an F-22 and F-16 test pilot and was the Chief Test Pilot at Scaled Composites. He was the pilot for the first flight and envelope expansion of the Scaled Composites Swift Jet Demonstrator. Most recently he was one of the two test pilots flying the historic Stratolaunch first flight. He has a BS/MS of Mechanical Engineering from RIT and a Masters of Flight Test Engineering from the USAF Test Pilot School. He has flown over 3,500 hours in 55 aircraft types and over 150 hours of combat time.
