Boom Supersonic
Kathryn Henry is an experienced Acoustics Engineer currently employed at Boom Supersonic since March 2024. Prior to this role, Kathryn served as an Acoustic Analysis Engineer at Boeing from August 2019 to February 2024, focusing on community noise product development and certification, as well as participating in the Flight Sciences Total Airplane Rotation Team (FSTART) for aerodynamic performance analysis. Kathryn's earlier positions include a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan, where instruction in laboratory testing and experimentation was provided, and internships at Raytheon, where significant improvements in radar log analysis processes and trajectory propagation tools were achieved. Research experience includes work at the Autonomous Aerospace Systems Laboratory at the University of Michigan and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Pennsylvania State University. Kathryn holds a Master’s of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from the same institution.
