Corey Sanders

Corey Sanders has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Corey began their career as a Development Intern at Sterling Commerce in 1998 and later worked as a Software Developer, where they performed development tasks in Windows, C/C++, and ASP. Corey then transitioned to the role of Staff Software Developer, leading the organization's shift from a Windows/C++ stack to Java J2EE. During this time, they also worked on B2B Commerce Applications Development on the Sterling Commerce Value Added Network.

In 2011, Corey joined IBM as an Advisory Software Engineer, specializing in Java Backend development and B2B integration. Corey gained extensive experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM MQ, Oracle, and DB2 RDBMS. Corey later moved to a new role within IBM's Watson Health division, focusing on Data Ingestion, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Insight Generation using Artificial Intelligence/Deep Learning models. This involved working with Java, Apache Spark, Python, Pandas, NLTK, SciKitLearn, Keras, Theano, and Flask, with a specific focus on Oncology Data and Literature.

Most recently, Corey joined Boomi as a Senior Principal Software Engineer in 2022.

Corey Sanders earned a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University, completing their education there from 1996 to 2000.
