Karoliina Lehtonen

Karoliina Lehtonen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Karoliina is the CEO and Founder of Booming Strategies & Marketing, a design company focused on future-readiness and strategic foresight projects. Karoliina is also a Board Member and Vice Chairman at Pirkanmaan Osuuskauppa, where they specialize in strategic foresight, customer experience, and digital concepts. Additionally, they serve as a Board Member at Visit Tampere, an organization that promotes tourism and events in Tampere, Finland. Karoliina is a Partner at Hallituspartnerit and a Board Member at Future Board ry, a network for young company board members. Karoliina has also held roles as a Board Member at Layette Oy, a Member of the Board of Advisors at INARI Arctic Cosmetics Oy, and a Board Member at Pirkanmaan Jätevesipalvelut Oy. Karoliina Lehtonen has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Marketing from the University of Tampere, which they obtained from 2001 to 2012. Karoliina also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Political Sciences from the University of Tampere, which they earned from 2002 to 2004. Furthermore, they studied History at the University of Tampere from 2000 to 2002. In 2005, they attended the École Supérieure De Commerce de Montpellier in France, where they studied Marketing. Additionally, they completed a course on Business: Go-to-market strategies and tactics at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2016. In 2020, they pursued a course on Strategic Foresight in Business Management at Aalto University. Karoliina Lehtonen has also acquired certifications such as HHJ - Hyväksytty hallituksen jäsen from Hallituspartnerit in 2023 and Design Futures Training from the Institute for the Future in 2019.
