Shannon Kuczynski has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. In 1996, they began their career at North Kansas City Hospital as an Emergency Department Charge Nurse and later went on to become the Manager Nursing Operations and Director of the Magnet Program. In 2013, they joined Truman Medical Centers as the Corporate Director of Workforce Development. From 2015 to 2022, Shannon worked at HCA MidAmerica Division, starting as the Division Associate Vice President and later becoming the Division Vice President of Service Lines and Clinical Informatics. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Nurse Executive at Boone Health since 2022.
Shannon Kuczynski earned a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from The University of Kansas in 1994. Shannon went on to pursue a Master's of Science in Health Services Administration with a focus on Healthcare Outcomes and Research from the University of Kansas Medical Center, which they completed in 2001. During the same period, they also obtained a Master's of Science in Nursing Administration with the same focus from the University of Kansas School of Nursing. Shannon also holds board certification as a nurse executive from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
