Aychew Bekele

Aychew Bekele is a seasoned professional in the brewing and food science industries with extensive experience in barley sourcing, brewing, and quality assurance. Currently serving as Barley Sourcing Manager at Boortmalt since September 2020, Aychew has previously held significant roles including Head Brewer at Diageo and Technical Brewer at The HEINEKEN Company. Aychew's career began at Assela Malt Factory as Quality Assurance and Research Manager and includes experience as Production Head at Abay Tannery. Aychew holds a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from Haramaya University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from Addis Ababa University.
