Lakin Glaze has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. In 2012, they began as a Bank Teller at South Carolina Federal Credit Union. In 2013, they became an Au Pair for GeoVisions, and in 2009, an Inventory Specialist for University of West Georgia. In 2015, they took on the role of Late Night Event Coordinator at the Jewish Museum London. In 2016, they worked as a Documentation, Registration, & Collections Management Intern at The British Museum and as a Collections Management Intern at Canterbury Museums and Galleries. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Claims Analyst and then as an Implementation Specialist and SURGE Team member for Greenway Health. In 2020, they became a Project Manager / Estimator at C & S GLASS, and in 2021, they took on the role of Revenue Recovery Specialist at Boost Healthcare.

Lakin Glaze received a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from the University of West Georgia in 2011. From 2007 to 2011, they attended Central High School. In 2011, they also completed a Museum Studies & Field School in Archaeology at the University of Cambridge. In 2015, they completed a Master's Degree in Museology/Museum Studies at UCL.
