T Ryan Hoens has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning, software development, and data science. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Software Development Engineer at Bloomberg LP from December 2016 to May 2019. T Ryan also worked at Microsoft as a Senior Data Scientist from June 2016 to December 2016 and as a Data Scientist from July 2013 to June 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Data Scientist at SAS from July 2012 to July 2013. T Ryan started their career as a Computer Science coop at NSA in 2006.

T Ryan Hoens began their education journey in 2003 at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. This program lasted for four years, and they successfully completed it in 2007.

Hoens then went on to attend the University of Notre Dame, where they embarked on a doctoral program in Computer Science. T Ryan spent a significant amount of time at this institution, studying from 2008 to 2012, and ultimately earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
