Agustin B.

Agustin B. has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Agustin started their career at LIDeS in 2005 as a Software Engineer, where they focused on software development using Object Oriented languages and techniques, as well as conducting research on new Object Oriented technologies. Agustin also taught Object Oriented language theory and software design.

In 2006, Agustin joined Kanav S.A. as a Software Engineer, where they developed J2EE applications using Jakarta Struts and related frameworks. Agustin also worked on developing Web Services using Apache Axis and Castor, as well as Ajax components.

Agustin then worked at EDS in 2007 as an Information Analyst, where they were involved in Java development for the MCI/Verizon account. Agustin also developed Web Services with Axis 1 and Axis 2, and created Rich Clients with J2SE and Swing.

In 2007, they joined Gameloft as a Software Engineer, followed by a role at Santex America S.A. as a Team Leader and Software Engineer. At Santex, Agustin led a development team on a RESTful web services project and worked on various projects involving Spring, Hibernate, DWR, JSP, Adobe Flex, and MySQL.

Agustin later joined Motorola as a Software Engineer, working as a Contractor for Harriague y Asociados S. R. L.

In 2010, Agustin worked at SDP as a Software Engineer, where they developed a web port of the SPLAN platform and protocol using RIA frameworks. Agustin also worked on developing Rich Internet Applications using Google Web Toolkit, SmartGWT, ExtGWT, DWR, Apache CXF, and Google Guice, as well as Web Services and Persistence Layers using InterSystems Caché.

Later in 2010, Agustin returned to Santex America S.A. as a Technical Lead, where they led projects to develop web service infrastructures using JBoss AS, Oracle, Apache CXF, and other technologies. Agustin also developed and maintained a web service infrastructure and RIA client for managing a Cisco CUCM system.

From 2013 to 2018, Agustin worked as a Python Developer at Machinalis, before joining BoostUp.ai in 2018 as the Lead Backend and Data Pipeline Engineer. At BoostUp.ai, they designed, implemented, and maintained backend and data pipeline solutions using Flask, MongoDB, and React+Redux over AWS. Agustin also integrated various third-party services like Fivetran, Snowflake, Sisense, Salesforce, ReMeeting, Google, and Outlook APIs.

Throughout their career, Agustin has demonstrated strong technical skills and experience with a variety of programming languages and technologies, as well as leadership capabilities.

Agustin B. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, where they studied from 1996 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Agustin has also pursued various certifications in the field of data analysis and engineering. Agustin obtained a Data Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity in December 2021, a Data Streaming Nanodegree in July 2022, and a Data Analyst Nanodegree in September 2022.
