Nick Locascio has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nick is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Booth AI, a position they assumed in April 2022. Prior to that, from May 2018 to April 2022, they served as the Director of Engineering at Standard Cognition, where they played a crucial role in algorithm development, led machine learning teams, and contributed to product launches.
In 2016, Nick worked as a Deep Learning Consultant at Symantec and a Graduate Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they published two machine learning papers and founded and lectured MIT's Deep Learning course. Nick also worked briefly as a Deep Learning Engineer at Perch, a Machine Learning Engineer at Pinterest, and a Software Engineer at Fitbit in 2016, 2015, and 2014 respectively.
Additionally, Nick has experience as a founder, having created Mystery Snap, an ephemeral photo sharing iOS app that reached over 250,000 users and sent over 3 million photos during their tenure from May 2013 to August 2014. Nick also founded Monster Cats, a 2D action runner iPhone game that achieved significant success in its launch.

Nick Locascio attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016, where they studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Nick then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science at MIT from 2016 to 2017. Prior to their time at MIT, Nick attended the Community School of Naples from 2002 to 2012. Nick also has experience at Y Combinator, specifically in the W23 - Booth.ai program, although the dates of their involvement are not specified.
