As CIO, Rich is responsible for delivering technology for more than 50,000 team members and 2,500 stores.

Helping to champion professionalisation of the IT industry, Boots UK has become a member of The Chartered Institute for IT (BSC), the professional body for computing, under Rich’s leadership.

As an expert in digital health services within the NHS and beyond, Rich has held many senior information and digital technology roles in the industry, including positions at Leeds NHS Trust, eHealth Ireland, and the NHS Information Centre.

Rich is an advisory board member for Silver Buck and KLAS Research and was named in Marketing Week’s Top 50 CX Executives UK 2021.
