Fergal Harte

Fergal Harte has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Fergal currently holds the position of Director of Corporate Services at Bord Iascaigh Mhara - Ireland's Seafood Development Agency, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, Fergal worked as Head of Finance at the same organization from January 2018 to April 2023.

Before joining Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Fergal served as the Finance Manager at the Mental Health Commission IRL from September 2015 to January 2018. Fergal also worked as a Financial Accountant at Optimum Engineering from July 2012 to July 2016.

Furthermore, Fergal gained valuable experience as an Accountant at PKF-FPM Accountants Limited from February 2014 to August 2015 and at TaxAssist Accountants Ireland from March 2013 to February 2014.

In addition to their finance-related roles, Fergal worked as an Auditor at the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General from September 2007 to July 2012. Fergal also held positions at Leinster Golf as a Tournament Secretary in 2012 and at Dundalk Institute of Technology in a sports-related role in 2006.

Fergal Harte attended Dundalk Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance. Additionally, in August 2010, they obtained the Chartered Certified Accountant certification from ACCA.
