Ian Mannix

Ian Mannix serves as the Skills Manager at Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Ireland's Seafood Development Agency, since June 2010, overseeing the Skills Development Unit that provides vital training for the Irish seafood sector. In addition to this role, Ian has experience as a Business Development Executive focused on new product development for various seafood companies, targeting both domestic and export markets. Previously, from July 2005 to June 2009, Ian held the positions of UK Market Advisor, conducting market research and guiding Irish companies toward lucrative UK foodservice opportunities, and Seafood Advisor, where responsibilities included designing and testing seafood recipes for promotional materials. Ian completed a degree in Training Delivery & Evaluation at Technological University Dublin in July 2022.
