Katie McInerney

As assistant sports editor, Katie manages BostonGlobe.com/sports, in addition to working on audience engagement and digital storytelling projects. She joined the Globe in September 2019 from the Philadelphia Inquirer, where she worked as an editor and producer. Previously, Katie was a sports designer at the Houston Chronicle and the Tulsa (Okla.) World. She graduated from Syracuse University in 2012 and was born and raised on Nantucket Island.
