Brian Keng

Brian Keng is a seasoned expert in artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as Senior Director of AI Solutions and Research Director at Borealis AI since July 2021. In addition, Brian holds the position of Adjunct Professor of Data Science at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management since April 2018. Previously, Brian was Chief Data Scientist at Kinaxis and Rubikloud Technologies, where contributions were pivotal in driving Rubikloud’s growth from a startup to a leading enterprise retail AI software provider, culminating in a $60M acquisition. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Data Scientist at Marketwired, Senior Software Engineer at Vennsa Technologies, and teaching roles at the University of Toronto. Brian holds a PhD and MASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, along with a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
