Daniela Roeper, P. Eng. has a diverse professional background. Daniela began their career in 2012 working as an Engineering Technologist at ORTECH Consulting Inc., where they were responsible for auditing small solar farms, researching renewable energy, conducting basic wind resource assessments, and CFD modeling for prospective wind farm locations. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin, where they conducted experiments, collected data, and analyzed data using MatLab. Most recently, they have been the Founder & CEO of Borealis Wind since 2016, where they have developed a blade de-icing retrofit for wind turbines and has now installed systems at wind farms across Canada.

Daniela Roeper, P. Eng. attended The University of British Columbia from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Commerce.
