Dr. Dirk Langhammer

Dr. Dirk Langhammer's work experience includes serving as the Vice President of Strategy & Group Development at Borealis since January 2022. From July 2019 to January 2022, they worked at OMV as the Vice President of Business Transformation. Prior to that, they held various roles at OMV including Head of Business Development OMV Downstream Middle East & Asia, Head of OMV Inhouse Consulting, Head of Strategy Development, and Senior Expert Strategy, all between 2013 and 2019. Their career began in 2006 at McKinsey & Company, where they worked as an Engagement Manager until August 2013.

Dr. Dirk Langhammer obtained a degree in Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur Energy technics and Process Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig in 2006. Later, in 2010, they received a PhD in Economics, with a focus on the economics of refractory metals, from the University of Augsburg.
