Martin Anker

Martin Anker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in innovation and technology within the plastics industry, holding the position of Lead Project Manager at Borealis since November 2000. Anker has led various innovation projects, particularly focused on Borcycle M technology for converting post-consumer waste into material compounds. Previous roles include Group Leader in High Pressure Polyethylene Design and Polymers and Low Voltage/Communication cable applications, showcasing strong people management skills and project leadership. Additionally, Anker has served as Chairman of the Pipe Expert Group at PlasticsEurope, overseeing lobbying activities, and has a background in development engineering. Anker holds a PhD in Biosciences and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, as well as experience from the Swedish Institute for Food and Biotechnology.
