Rolph Zaman

Global Business Director Polypropylene at Borealis

Rolph Zaman has a diverse work experience in the energy and chemicals industry. Rolph started their career at Total as a Process Engineer and later worked as a Corporate Strategy Analyst. Rolph then joined Umicore, where they held various roles including Category Manager, Group Energy Procurement Manager, and Procurement Manager. Following this, they worked at Borealis as the Commercial Energy Manager and later as the Group Sourcing Manager for Energy and Utilities. Rolph then became the Head of Sourcing & Trading, leading a team responsible for global sourcing and trading of raw materials, energy, and utilities. In addition to their industry experience, Zaman also worked as a Guest Professor at IFP School, specializing in Downstream Economics. Currently, they hold the position of Global Business Director Polypropylene at Borealis.

Rolph Zaman's education history includes obtaining a Master's degree in Energy Economics from IFP School in 2009, graduating with a MSc. in Chemical Engineering from KU Leuven in 2009, and completing a degree in Sciences Mathematics from Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat in 2004. Additionally, they attended Vlerick Business School in 2014 for a program on Leading Change and IMD in 2017 for a course on Building Business Sustainability. In 2022, they pursued further education at IMD, completing a program on Inspirational Leadership and another program on Leading Ahead.
