Kim Kruse Andersen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1985, they worked at Maersk Data as a Department Manager until 1994. Kim then served as the President of Maersk Data USA from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, they became the President of Landbrugets EDB Center until 2004. From 2002 to 2004, they held executive positions at Acure (Mærsk) and Mærsk Data AS as Chairman and Executive Vice President, respectively. In 2002, they also became the Chairman of R5, a position they held until 2004. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as the Vice President of Bridge Terminal Transport Inc. In 2009, they became the Managing Director of Elstock A/S and later took on the role of CEO at BORG Automotive A/S in 2014.
Kim Kruse Andersen attended the Columbia Business School in 1996, where they completed a Senior Executive Program. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1984, they pursued their Master's degree in Foreign Trade at the Copenhagen Business School. Before that, from 1978 to 1984, Kim Kruse Andersen attended the Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they received a Cand.Polit. degree in Political Science.
