Yazan Barazi

Yazan Barazi, Ph.D., currently serves as Functional Safety Manager at BorgWarner since December 2021, previously holding the role of Senior eHW Architect - Functional Safety Engineer. Prior to this, Yazan worked as a Research Engineer at IRT Saint Exupéry, focusing on extreme aging protocols of SiC MOSFET for critical applications. Yazan's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Toulouse INP, complemented by a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Montpellier and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Sciences from Faculté des sciences de Rabat. Yazan's expertise encompasses power electronics, semiconductor device physics, and functional safety, with experience in various research and teaching positions within academic and industry settings.
