Valerio Agostini is an accomplished purchasing and supply chain professional with extensive experience in commodity management and strategic purchasing across various industries. Currently serving as Group Purchasing Director at Bormioli Pharma since February 2020, Valerio leads the Purchasing Team and oversees both Direct and Indirect spend for the Group. Prior roles include Senior Commodity Manager for Allegion, PLC, where Valerio defined purchasing strategies for raw materials and managed hedging policies. With a solid background at Indesit Company, Valerio managed significant turnovers and led teams in the procurement of plastics and metals, showcasing expertise in supply chain logistics and cost optimization. Valerio holds a degree in Economics from Università Politecnica delle Marche and advanced education from ISTAO - Istituto Adriano Olivetti.
