Mariah Karis

Mariah Karis is a skilled professional with diverse experience in program management, entrepreneurship, design, and social media strategy. Currently serving as a Program Associate at the Born This Way Foundation, Mariah is involved in grant writing, partnership development, and organizational strategy. As the Founder and CEO of The Giddy Thrifter, Mariah promotes sustainable fashion by offering a curated selection of vintage and upcycled items. Previous roles include designing print layouts at the Montana Kaimin, managing social media for the University of Montana’s entertainment management department, and participating as a Summer Fellow at Future Founders. Mariah’s extensive background also includes teaching and directing at the Missoula Children's Theatre, showcasing strong communication and leadership skills throughout various projects. Mariah holds a degree in Journalism, Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from the University of Montana.
