Ellie Lopez

Ellie Lopez has extensive work experience at Borrego Health. Ellie started their career in 2008 as an Accounting Clerk, handling payroll, accounts payable/receivables, and assisting with financial reports. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Billing Auditor/ICD-10 Specialist, managing compliance initiatives and conducting training for staff. From 2015 onwards, they have been working as a Financial Data Analyst, leading the Behavioral Health Integration team and overseeing data analytics and project management. Throughout their career, Ellie has demonstrated their expertise in financial analysis, auditing, and process improvements.

Ellie Lopez completed their education at the University of Phoenix, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting between 2011 and 2015. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their degrees, Ellie also obtained the certification of Certified Professional Coder from the AAPC in November 2012.
