Arbek Akay

Arbek Akay has extensive experience in leadership and management within the aluminium industry, currently serving as CEO at Borsan Kablo since March 2018. Prior to this role, Arbek held key positions including General Manager at Teknik Aluminyum A.S. from March 2015 to February 2018 and Director of Marketing & Corporate Strategy at Assan Aluminyum from May 2000 to December 2014. Arbek's expertise encompasses corporate performance management, financial controlling and reporting, strategic planning, and corporate communication. Additionally, Arbek has led sales and marketing teams, managing large global key accounts and overseeing exports to over 40 countries. Academic qualifications include an Executive MBA from Sabanci University and a BSc in Economics from Istanbul University.
