Guenter Mamier

Guenter Mamier has a diverse work experience spanning various positions in the IT industry. Guenter started their career as a Data Analysis Consultant at CERN in 1997. Following that, they worked at Alcatel from 1999 to 2008, initially as a Technical Process Manager and later as an R&I Process Manager. During this time, they focused on harmonizing processes, introducing new tools, and optimizing reporting processes. In 2009, they joined Swisscom, where they held the positions of Security Manager and IT Governance, Domain Owner IT Network. In these roles, they were responsible for IT governance, defining enterprise architecture, and managing stakeholder relationships. Guenter then moved to Magna Powertrain - Getrag in 2014 as an International IT Network Service Manager. Guenter'sresponsibilities included overseeing IT network services internationally. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as the Director of Global IT and System Information at Global Safety Textiles. Currently, Guenter Mamier is Director IT International at BOS GmbH & Co. KG, starting from March 2019.

Guenter Mamier has a strong educational background in computer science. Guenter obtained their Doctorate degree in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen in 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Dipl.-Inform degree in Computer Science at the University of Stuttgart from 1985 to 1992. Additionally, Guenter pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University from 1989 to 1991.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Guenter Mamier has also obtained several certifications. Guenter earned an OSU Leadership Development Certificate from Oregon State University in June 2019. In 2015, they completed PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from APMG International. Furthermore, Guenter holds the Certified Enterprise Architect (EA) certification from The Open Group, which they obtained in April 2012.
