Gert Fourie

Gert Fourie is a seasoned professional in the engineering and infrastructure sector, currently serving as Regional Director at Bosch Projects (Pty) Ltd. since November 2016. Prior to this role, Fourie held key positions at AECOM, including Senior Executive (Project Leader) overseeing a significant SANRAL project worth approximately R 1.2 billion, and Business Unit Leader focusing on sustainable performance in civil infrastructure. Fourie also served as Business Line Leader for Transportation in Africa, ensuring excellence in new business bids and maintaining client relationships. Earlier in their career, Fourie was a Senior Principal at BKS Group (Pty) Limited, where Gert managed infrastructure services post-acquisition by AECOM, and worked as a Regional Roads Engineer in the Free State Province. Fourie's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Stellenbosch University and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Pretoria.
