David Campelo

David Campelo is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and product engineering. Currently serving as an Engineering Lead at Bosch Security and Safety Systems since January 2022, David collaborates with Product Owners to develop innovative fire detection systems while driving engineering excellence and mentoring software engineers. Prior roles include Senior Embedded Linux Engineer at Bosch Portugal, Interactive TV and Mobile Software Specialist as an independent consultant, and a Ph.D. Researcher focused on context-aware recommender systems. David's educational background includes a PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from Universidade de Aveiro, along with a Master's in Network Services Management and a Bachelor's in Science, Computing from Federal University of Ceara.
