Emery Ku

Emery Ku is a Principal Systems Design Engineer at Bose Corporation, where since 2017, work has centered on researching and developing technologies for next-generation noise-cancelling headphones, specifically leading the team that delivered the Bose QC Earbuds. Previous roles at Bose included Acoustical Research Engineer, focusing on active sound management solutions for automotive applications. Emery has also served as Head of Research at OptaSense Ltd, leading the development of groundbreaking algorithms across various industries, and held positions as an Operations Research Engineer at QinetiQ North America, and a Research Fellow in Cochlear Mechanics at the University of Southampton. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Acoustical Engineering from the University of Southampton and a B.S. in Engineering from Swarthmore College.
