Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a diverse background in electronics and firmware development. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to collaborative solutions, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previous experience includes roles as an electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris designed and repaired educational devices, and as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, involved in creating control systems for forestry industry equipment. Additionally, Chris served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting engineering courses. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
