Helena Salgado

Helena Salgado is a bilingual clinical psychology intern at the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. Helena is also a graduate student at Northeastern University, where Helena received a merit-based scholarship. Additionally, Helena is the founder of La Boca Mojada, an activist project promoting gender equality through women's sexual empowerment. As a research intern at NYU, Helena worked on Project YESS! to reduce sexual and reproductive health inequalities. Helena also has experience as a teaching assistant at the University of the Andes. Helena holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from NYU and is pursuing a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern University.
