Joel Schmidt

Joel Schmidt has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Joel began their career in 1985 at Magnacorp Metals as a Sales Representative for CAD/CAM, a role they held until 1987. Joel then joined PepsiCo in 1987, starting as a Retail Sales Representative and later advancing to the positions of On Premise District Manager, On Premise Regional Sales Manager, and eventually National Account Manager, where they worked until 1994. Schmidt then moved to Miller Brewing Company, where they worked as a Business Development Manager from 1994 to 1996, and later as a National Business Development Manager from 1996 to 1998. In 1998, they joined Beverage Distributors Inc. as General Manager before joining The Boston Beer Company in 1999 as a Region Manager. Joel was promoted to Central Division Director in 2001 and is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy and Enablement since November 2022. Throughout their career, Schmidt has demonstrated strategic leadership, capability building, and profit growth for their respective teams and territories.

Joel Schmidt attended Western Michigan University from 1980 to 1984, earning a BBA degree with a focus on Marketing and Economics. Prior to that, they attended North Farmington High School.
