Chris Stroup

Chris Stroup currently serves as President and CEO of Anglican House Publishers since January 2024. Stroup has held multiple leadership positions at the Joy to the World Foundation since July 2018, including President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and Director of Operations, as well as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Growth. In academia, Stroup has been a Visiting Scholar and Assistant Research Professor of New Testament at Boston College since August 2014, in addition to serving as Assistant Editor of New Testament Abstracts. Previously, management experience includes a role as Manager at International Fellowship House from June 2008 to June 2016 and Instructional Technology Assistant at Yale Divinity School from August 2006 to June 2008. Educational credentials include a PhD in Religion/Religious Studies from Boston University (2008-2016), an MA in Bible/Biblical Studies from Yale Divinity School (2005-2008), and a BA in Bible/Biblical Studies from Biola University (2001-2003).
