Theresa O'Keefe

Theresa O'Keefe serves as a Professor of the Practice at Boston College's School of Theology and Ministry since September 2005, specializing in youth and young adult faith and religious education, with an emphasis on ministry formation within the Christian tradition. Additionally, Theresa holds the position of Director of Contextual Education, overseeing the academic program for graduate students in ministry and education formation, which includes student placements, curriculum development, and supervisor training. Previously, from 1990 to 2000, Theresa worked as a Consultant on Religious Education for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield MA, where support was provided to parishes in leadership development and catechist training. Theresa's academic credentials include a PhD in Theology & Education and an MEd in Religious Education from Boston College, as well as a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College.
