Alberto Rodriguez

Alberto Rodriguez is a highly accomplished professional in the field of robotics, currently serving as the Director of Robot Behavior for Atlas and previously holding roles such as Associate Director and Manipulation R&D Lead at Boston Dynamics since September 2021. Alberto's academic career includes a significant tenure at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where positions have included Associate Professor with Tenure, Assistant Professor, and Visiting Scientist from June 2014 to January 2025. Alberto earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, and also holds an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a Licentiate degree in Applied Mathematics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
