John Waddell

John Waddell is a seasoned professional in systems engineering and nuclear safety with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Boston Government Services, LLC since November 2020, John has a consulting role as a Professional Engineer since February 2013. Previously, John held positions including Facility Safety Analyst for a multi-billion dollar Uranium Processing Facility with Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC, and Nuclear and Systems Engineer at Atkins, where safety analyses were conducted for another major facility. John's career also includes pivotal roles at SAIC, focusing on advanced nuclear systems and NASA projects, as well as management experience at Battelle. In addition to engineering roles, John contributed to academia as a lecturer and Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University. John holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
