Scott Madel

Scott Madel has a strong and diverse work experience spanning several industries. Scott is currently the President of Boston Heart Diagnostics since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director at The Brahman Group from January 2020.

Before joining The Brahman Group, Scott held the position of Chief Executive Officer at BioHealth Diagnostics from December 2018 to January 2020. Scott also served as a Board of Directors member at Genova Diagnostics Europe from October 2013 to August 2018.

Scott's extensive experience in the healthcare industry includes their role as Chief Executive Officer at GENOVA DIAGNOSTICS EUROPE LTD, where they provided executive leadership in European operations and international business. During their tenure there from June 2013 to August 2018, they had ultimate responsibility for global market strategy, UK profit and loss, and European Laboratory Operations.

From June 2005 to July 2018, Scott was the Vice President of Business Development at Genova Diagnostics, where they played a crucial role in strategic guidance and tactical execution as part of the executive leadership team. Scott reported directly to the CEO and private equity partners and contributed to the company's impressive $120 million+ turnover.

Before their healthcare roles, Scott gained valuable sales and field experience at Novartis Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Specialty Sales Consultant from October 2003 to April 2005, and at Merck as a Field Sales Specialist from August 2000 to October 2003.

Scott began their career as a Sales Representative at Inacom Information Systems from March 1999 to April 2000, and prior to that, they worked as a Trauma and Life Support nurse at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics from August 1997 to October 1999. Overall, Scott Madel possesses a well-rounded professional background with significant experience in executive leadership, business development, and sales roles within the healthcare sector.

Scott Madel earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Intelligence from Southern New Hampshire University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1995 to 2000. In 1999, Scott briefly studied International/Global Studies at King's College London.
