Sheng-Wen Huang

Sheng-Wen Huang is a Principal Imaging Scientist at Boston Imaging, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., since November 2023, following a similar role at Butterfly Network, Inc. from June 2019 to October 2023. Huang has a strong background in ultrasound beamforming and image processing, contributing to significant improvements in imaging performance for products such as the iQ+ and iQ3. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Scientist and Project Leader at Philips Research North America, receiving the Outstanding Employee of 2018 recognition, and leading a research team that achieved over $30M in technology transfers. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, along with a Bachelor's degree from the same institution. Previous positions range from postdoctoral research fellowships at prominent universities to hardware engineering at ADLINK Technology Inc.
