Randall Erb has worked in various roles across a range of organizations. In 2004, they started as an Electrical Engineer at Washington Group International (now part of URS Corporation). From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zurich. In 2013, they became an Associate Professor at Northeastern University. In 2016, they co-founded both Boston Materials, LLC and Fortify. Finally, in 2022, they co-founded Fourier.
Randall Erb received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2004. Prior to that, they attended Cherry Creek High School from 1996 to 2000. Randall then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University in 2009.
