Jonathan Berz

Jonathan Berz serves as the Associate Medical Director for Primary Care at Boston Medical Center since September 2009, focusing on enhancing clinician and patient experiences while supporting the introduction of new service lines. With a comprehensive background as a primary care physician in a large academic internal medicine practice, Jonathan specializes in chronic disease management and preventive medicine. In addition to roles at Boston Medical Center, Jonathan has held academic positions at Boston University School of Medicine as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine and former Assistant Professor. Jonathan's leadership extends to the Preventive Medicine Residency Program, where Jonathan has acted as both Program Director and Associate Program Director, overseeing administration, curriculum design, and trainee mentorship. Educational credentials include an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, an MSc in Epidemiology from Boston University, and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University.
