Irina Gorbounova

Irina Gorbounova serves as the Head of the XCarb Innovation Fund at ArcelorMittal, focusing on investments that promote carbon-neutral steelmaking technologies. Gorbounova holds the position of Vice President in Group Mergers & Acquisitions at Boston Metal and is an active member of the Board of Directors for multiple companies, including CHAR Technologies Ltd. and HyDeal, while also serving as an observer on the boards of H2Pro and Form Energy, Inc. Additionally, Gorbounova contributes expertise to LanzaTech as a Strategic Advisory Committee Member and participates in the Energy Resilience Leadership Group and Breakthrough Energy as a member. Gorbounova's educational background includes executive education from Harvard Business School and IMD, as well as degrees in Treasury Management and an MBA. Prior professional experience includes a tenure at PricewaterhouseCoopers in assurance and advisory roles.
