Valerie Fiolkoski has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry. Valerie started their career in 1998 as an Animal Technician at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Over the years, they have held various roles, including Senior Coordinator of Support Services at Sulzer Biologics and Senior Research Associate at OSI Pharmaceuticals Inc.

In 2005, Valerie joined GlobeImmune, Inc. as the Manager of Pre-Clinical Studies and IACUC Administrator. Valerie was responsible for designing and managing the animal research facility and overseeing a mouse breeding colony.

Valerie then transitioned to the role of Consultant at V. Fiolkoski Pre-Clinical Consulting in 2010 before joining Pharmatech as a Project Manager in 2012. At Pharmatech, they oversaw multiple oncology clinical trials and served as the primary contact for sponsors and investigative sites.

In 2013, Valerie became an Associate Project Manager at CPC, where they managed vascular disease trials and oversaw Phase I-III sponsor-led investigations. Valerie then moved on to Simbec-Orion in 2016 as a Project Manager, specializing in rare and orphan diseases and serving as the primary contact and liaison with sponsors.

Valerie's most recent role was as a Project Manager at Filo Clinical Research Services LLC, where they worked as a Project Management consultant for global clinical trials. Their responsibilities included managing adult and pediatric trials in various indications across multiple sites globally.

Currently, Valerie is working at Boston Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Clinical Operations, starting in 2022.

Valerie Fiolkoski began their education at The University of Kansas, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from 1991 to 1994. In 2000 to 2001, they attended Mountain States Employers Council, earning a Supervision Certificate. Valerie later pursued further education at Colorado State University, receiving a Certificate in Regulatory Affairs in 2012 and a Project Management Certificate from 2014 to 2015.
