Laila Jalilian has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Laila began their career as a Health Coordinator, Anti-Oppression Committee member, and Social Manager for the Berkeley Student Cooperative in 2015. In 2017, they began working as an Educational Outreach Coordinator for the Health Centers of Quetzaltenango and an Undergrad Legal Assistant for the Bankston Immigration Law Office. In 2019, they joined Global Public Service Academies as a Program Coordinator and in 2021, they became a Healthcare Employer Engagement Manager for the Boston Private Industry Council.
Laila Jalilian completed their Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017. In 2018, they attended the Academy of Mayan Languages of Guatemala (ALMG) to study the Mam language.
