Hope Genty

Hope Genty is an experienced librarian currently serving as Collection Librarian 2 at the Boston Public Library since November 2018, overseeing specific Adult collections and leading teams of librarians while assisting at the main public service desk. Previously, Hope worked as a Children’s Librarian at the Honan-Allston branch, managing juvenile and teen collections and developing programs for children. Past roles include Substitute Teen Librarian at Watertown Free Public Library, Library Assistant at the Public Library of Brookline, and various positions in retail and as an archives intern. Hope holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Simmons University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Colorado State University.
