Boston Symphony Orchestra
Michael Nock is an accomplished artistic administrator currently serving as the Artistic Administrator for the Boston POPS at the Boston Symphony Orchestra since November 2022. Nock has extensive experience with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, starting in June 2001 as the Printed Programs Coordinator & Annotator for the Tanglewood Music Center and progressing through various roles, including Interim Director and Associate Director. Contributions also include serving as the Host of "Tuesdays with the TMC" at WMHT from June 2018 to August 2022, and creating radio broadcast scripts for the Houston Symphony from January 2019 to May 2020. Additionally, Nock worked as a Grant Administrator for the Frank Huntington Beebe Fund for Musicians and as Adjunct Faculty at Dean College. Nock holds a Master of Music in Music History & Literature from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
