Boston Symphony Orchestra
Wilson Ochoa has a distinguished career in music performance and orchestral librarianship, currently serving as Principal Librarian for the Boston Symphony Orchestra since June 2014. Previously, Wilson held the same position at the Nashville Symphony from July 2002 to May 2014. Wilson's experience also includes serving as Music Librarian for the Charleston Symphony Orchestra from September 2000 to June 2002 and as Third Horn with the same orchestra from January 1993 to June 2000. Additional roles include Third Horn with the Tulsa Philharmonic and Second Horn with the Savannah Symphony. Wilson's early career featured positions as Third Horn and Extra Horn with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Academic qualifications include a Master of Music in Performance from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from San Diego State University.
