Cosmin-Daniel Călin

Cosmin-Daniel Călin has a strong background in the field of computer software assurance engineering. Cosmin-Daniel currently works at Sware as a Computer Software Assurance Engineer, where they are responsible for the preparation, control, and archiving of validation documents. Cosmin-Daniel also prepares protocols and synthesis reports for new and existing products. In addition, they implement the validation strategy and creates document packages for all validation tasks.

Prior to their current role, Cosmin-Daniel worked at ARENSIA Exploratory Medicine GmbH as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Their responsibilities included checking and printing source documents, conducting and documenting quality control steps, and ensuring confidentiality.

Before joining ARENSIA Exploratory Medicine GmbH, Cosmin-Daniel gained experience in the field of microbiology as a Microbiologist at Rompharm Company. Cosmin-Daniel worked in this role from October 2018 to February 2021.

Cosmin-Daniel also has experience as a Laboratory Assistant at Laboratoarele Medica, where they worked from June 2017 to February 2018.

Cosmin-Daniel Călin began their education at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest in 2014, where they pursued a degree in Biotehnologii Medical - Veterinare. Cosmin-Daniel completed their undergraduate studies in 2018. Following this, they continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master's degree in Biotechnologies and Food Safety, which they completed in 2020.

In terms of additional certifications, Cosmin-Daniel Călin obtained several qualifications related to the field of clinical research. In 2021, they received certifications in Clinical Trials Assistant Training Program from VIARES, ICH Good Clinical Practices (GCP) Advanced Level from Avantyo Institute of Clinical Research, and Clinical Research Coordinator certificate from Science 37. In 2021, they also completed the entry-level course for ICH Good Clinical Practices (GCP) from Avantyo Institute of Clinical Research and became a Medidata Rave Certified Clinical Research Coordinator through Medidata Solutions. In 2022, they obtained certifications in GDPR, HIPPA for Business Associates, and KnowBe4 Security Awareness from KnowBe4. Lastly, in 2021, they earned a certification in Good Clinical Practices from The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
