Sean Cleary

Sean Cleary has extensive experience in risk management and compliance. Sean is currently the Director of Risk Management at Boston Trust Walden Company. Prior to this, they served as Principal/Advisor at Ohashi Advisors. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Affiliated Managers Group as Vice President, Internal Audit, where they designed and implemented an internal audit program to enhance organizational risk oversight. Before that, they were the Director of Compliance & Operational Due Diligence at Prime Buchholz & Associates, where they also held the role of Chief Operating Officer during the financial crisis of 2008/2009. Sean has also worked at Evergreen Investments as Vice President - Strategic Planning and Development and at JL Kaplan Associates, LLC as Chief Operating Officer.

Sean Cleary completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1989 to 1994, they studied Economics at the University of Maine. Later, in the years 2013 to 2016, they attended the Massachusetts School of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with honors, Cum Laude.
