Cara Stepp has an extensive academic background and professional experience in the field of biomedical engineering and related disciplines. Since September 2011, Cara has held multiple roles at Boston University, including Professor, Program Director for the PhD in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Additionally, Cara serves as a Scientific Advisor for Delsys, Inc. since October 2019. Prior to these roles, Cara completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Washington from September 2009 to August 2011. Educationally, Cara earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (2004-2009), an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2004-2008), and a BS in Engineering Science from Smith College (2000-2004).
