Melanie Hall

Melanie Hall serves as an Associate Professor and Director of Museum Studies at Boston University, a position held since 1999. Prior to this role, Melanie worked at English Heritage from 1984 to 1999, focusing on listed buildings review and resurvey. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Henry Moore Centre within Leeds City Art Galleries from 1981 to 1982. Melanie Hall holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cultural History, with a focus on heritage in Britain and North America and the history of the Fine and Decorative Arts, from Leeds Metropolitan University and the University of Leeds.
